Contrary to popular beliefs, pearls and boba are not so different from each other. What you need to be aware of, however, is the texture of the pearl/boba. Pearls are generally more chewy as their primary ingredient is starch extracted from cassava roots. Boba on the other hand, is available in popping yogurt forms or can be more crunchy than traditional pearls.

We use only the most premium tea leaves at Ami Tea & Sub and brew our batches daily for maximum quality control. Types of tea available at our stores include: Black tea, Oolong green tea, Jasmine green tea and Earl Gray tea.

The perfection of bánh mì has come a long way since its introduction in the 1800s. This Vietnamese version of the French baguette has a crisp, thin crust while the inside is cottony-soft and chewy. As part of our mission to promote the authenticity of traditional Vietnamese street-food, we do not offer other types of bread as they would interfere with the bánh mì’s characteristics.

Yes absolutely! We generally cater to our customers’ needs by offering dairy-free alternatives such as various nut milk and soy-based substitutes. Please don’t hesitate reaching out to our staff should you need dietary accommodation.
