Objectives of this Role
- To understand the basic premise of boba tea and Vietnamese food preparation, including a familiarity with their categories, formulas and handling of these items offered at Amitea Inglewood.
- To facilitate high-quality customer service, including being engaged in productive conversations with customers to recommend foods and drinks, assisting other employees during rush hour and providing help whenever needed around the station.
- To be involved in keeping the station and restaurant clean to maximize customer’s satisfaction ratings at Ami Tea & Sub Inglewood.
Daily Responsibilities
- Assist other employees with regards to the daily station setup at Amitea Inglewood, including the organization of various equipment, ingredients, and materials to standardize its functionality.
- Understand the teamwork dynamic within the company, ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with other employees to quickly fulfill customers’ orders.
- Attend monthly meetings with the manager and other part-time employees at Amitea Inglewood to discuss current progress with regards to drinks/food preparation, and to determine whether the training process should accommodate further training if needed.
- Take in-restaurant product photos for publish on Amitea Inglewood’s social media pages.
Scope of Services
- Undergo basic training to understand the underlying concept of bubble tea and food preparation. More importantly, the trainee in question must be capable of remembering the distinct characteristics of various foods/drinks to better service to customers’ preferences.
- Undergo preliminary training of customer service, which includes the ability to take orders, navigate through the ordering menu, and customers’ billing.
Skills and Qualifications
- Alberta Food Safety certification.
- High organizational and conscientiousness skills.
- Professional work ethic, capable of working independently, patient under pressure.
- High degree of English communications proficiency.
- Prior experience with the F&B industry and customer service is a preferred asset.

Consideration Requirements

- Completion of a 30-minute interview with Amitea manager.
- Attend preliminary training for a maximum of three shifts at the candidate’s personal time to fulfill one in multiple requirements to have application considered.
